When I named my company “The Editress,” I envisioned an editorial superheroine armed with red-pen magic powers saving publications from errors, omissions and bad grammar.

As an editor with 10 years of experience in publishing, that’s exactly what I
do - for clients ranging from publishers to individuals - but my superpowers don’t stop there.

While editing is my first specialty, I’ve acquired significant experience in other aspects of media. From TV appearances and public speaking engagements to reader interaction, editorial leadership, and staff and project management, my career has flown far beyond the keyboard.

Add to this multimedia and entrepreneurship training through a Mid-Career Master’s program at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication, where I’ve simultaneously gained teaching experience as a faculty adjunct.
